Yogacharya Elizabeth Tackenberg  met Baba Hariharananda in 1982, in New York City, and received Kriya Yoga initiation in July, 1983. She started guiding group mediation under Baba Hariharananda's supervision in 1985, became a yogacharya and began initiating others in 1996.

Even though she is so active in the world, she deeply enjoys spending time in silence and prayer, and especially helping to spread the message of Kriya Yoga.

If it is not possible for you to attend the entire program please try to set some time aside to join us, be it for just one meditation or even just a day as we meditate together to deepen our practice. Baba Hariharananda would constantly remind us, "An ounce of practice is far better than tons of theories."
